1. Course participants must be at
least 18 years of age. (Exceptions
are possible only by written arrangement with a parent/guardian.)
2. The
allocation for the level of your language course takes place on
the day of arrival or on the first day of the course after you did an
entrance test. EUer Sprachzentrum cannot be responsible for
misplacement of students who give incorrect information about their
level of German.
3. Terms of
payment: The course fee is that which appears on the price
list valid at the time of application. Upon application the student
will receive a preliminary confirmation. The participant
must meet the cost of bank charges for the payment of course fees. If
the full fee is not paid in time, the participant has no right of
reservation. In case of a withdrawal up to 4 weeks before the beginning
of a course, we refund all payments except a processing fee of 10
percent, refund at withdrawel 14 days before begin of booked
course is 80 percent, 10 days before begin refund is 70 percent, 5 days
before begin refund is 50 percent and after the stated begin of course
there is no refund possible.
If we have to
cancel your course, your payment will be fully refunded.
The participant has no right to any further claims.
4. If the
participant cannot reach Freiburg on the prearranged day of
arrival, he should notify EUer Sprachzentrum immediately.
5. EUer
Sprachzentrum places students in single or double rooms in
either student residences or with host families.
No preference
concerning the type of accommodation can be guaranteed. If private
accommodation with breakfast, and especially with half board, is
reserved, the meals provide a reflection of local tastes, and therefore
EUer Sprachzentrum cannot guarantee that the food provided will
necessarily suit
all palates.
6. The
participant agrees to abide by the regulations which govern the
particular type of accommodation. He or she has to pay compensation for
damage caused by himself or herself (e.g. if he or she is guilty of
negligence or has used electrical appliances incorrectly). He or she is
held liable for all damage directly concerning the damaged party, e.g.
the landlord.
If a participant causes any damage, for which EUer
Sprachzentrum is held liable, the institute is entitled to
reimbursement by the participant.
7. EUer
Sprachzentrum is not liable should it be prevented by acts of
God from providing its services. If a student has to interrupt his
stay, he has no claim to any compensation.
8. The course
fee does not include any kind of insurance.
9. The EUer
Sprachzentrum legal domicile is Freiburg.
Group courses:
The minimum number of participants for
intensive courses is six.
In case of less then six students in one group we reduce the number of
lessons.
With 4-5 participants we give 3 instead 4 lessons a day.
with 2-3 participants we teach 2 instead 4 lessons.
With payment of an additional fee we teach the full amount of lessons. |
